Here's how tablets looked before the iPad was released

We have the designs of smartphones before and after the launch of the iPhone, but of course we also have the design of tablets before and after the launch of the iPad. In the image above, we have presented the model of tablets designed by the manufacturers of mobile or classic PCs, and you can see that almost all of them run Windows and they all have a rather "interesting" appearance. We are of course talking about tablets that were available for purchase on the market, tablets that of course were not successful, tablets that look so ugly that now they would not even attract a glance from anyone.

If we look now at the shape of the tablets after the launch of the iPad, we can see that the manufacturers understood one thing: the desktop operating system has nothing to do with a tablet. In terms of shape, the iPad tablet is the only one that has proportionate measures and allows easy use in both landscape and portrait mode. The rest of the tablets have a slightly larger diagonal but a different format that makes them good for use in landscape mode but not so good for portrait mode.

Apple sues tablet manufacturers for copying iPad 2 design regarding the 2 images I would say that somewhere someone got a little inspiration from the design of the iPad.
