The SemiTethered jailbreak works on iOS 5.0.1

A few days ago, BigBoss updated its semi-tethered jailbreak solution, solving some of the problems that affected the functionality of our iDevices after its implementation. The new version allowed the use of Safari in semitethered mode and practically brought an almost functional jailbreak but without starting the terminal in Tethered Mode. Well, in the new iOS 5.0.1 the same things remain valid because Apple did not block everything that BigBoss used to develop its semitethered jailbreak solution and this is a good thing.

If you jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1, I recommend you to be careful because it is not yet known what problems may arise with the use of various tweaks from Cydia. It is not known if all the tweaks compatible with iOS 5 are also compatible with iOS 5.0.1, so I recommend you to be careful. You can jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 using this tutorial.
