An American analyst of Deutsche Bank checked the stocks of 30 Apple stores in the US and discovered that 85-90% of them remain daily without iPhone 4S in stock. Most stores sell the terminals only on the basis of reservations and those who enter the store daily are asked to access the Apple website to schedule a purchase for the next day.
The operators in the USA have it even worse because they do not receive new stocks of iPhone 4S terminals every day. In Europe, the situation is probably a bit calmer considering that we are talking about many more countries, a smaller territory and a slightly smaller demand. For the Apple iPhone 4S, it turns out to be the best-selling iPhone terminal in history and probably next week we will find out some figures regarding the sales recorded by the device in the first month of availability.
