Apple will close iTunes Connect during the Christmas period

Every year, during the winter holidays, Apple closes iTunes Connect, the portal through which application developers manage their applications launched or in the process of being launched in the App Store. This year, between December 22 and 29, iTunes Connect will be closed by Apple, the company giving its employees the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas holiday. This week, no developer will be able to modify their applications, so any prices set for them will remain unchanged until December 29.

We strongly recommend that you do not schedule pricing changes through the interval pricing system in iTunes Connect that would take effect from December 22 through December 29. Pricing changes scheduled to take effect during this date range will not be reflected in the App Store and the app will become unavailable for purchase.

We also recommend that you do not schedule any apps to go live during the shutdown. Releases scheduled with a sales start date between these dates will not go live until after the shutdown.

Practically for a week the App Store will "stand still", no new application will be accepted, no update will be available and from December 29 everything will return to normal.
