iPhone 4S unavailable at some US operators, available in Romania

In the USA it is iPhone 4S unavailabilityl for purchase at quite a few stores of the three big operators that sell it, and in the online store of the Apple company, any order placed now is delivered in 1-2 weeks. The company's physical stores receive daily new stocks of iPhone 4S terminals that they sell in just a few hours, a sign that the device is still extremely well sold overseas. In Europe, Apple stores in certain countries have the same kind of problems, and in online stores the deadline of 1-2 weeks for deliveries is kept.

Verizon Wireless customers may have to wait more than three weeks for the device, according to the carrier's website. That compares with as much as 21 days at AT&T and up to 14 days at Sprint Nextel. While some tech blogs have suggested Apple's manufacturing isn't keeping pace, the carriers point to unexpectedly strong demand for the handset.

"We are having some supply issues in the sense that demand's huge," AT&T's president of emerging devices, Glenn Lurie, said Wednesday. "We have just had record-breaking sales on it."

In Romania, the terminal is still available at mobile phone operators' stores but also in their online stores, so if you are interested in purchasing one, you don't have to worry. Fewer terminals are sold in our country and this year the stock was large enough to meet the demand, something that happens anyway.
