Foxconn plans to double the production capacity of the iPhone terminal factory

Foxconn is the company that produces the most iPhones for Apple and this partnership convinced the Asian company to expand the production capacity of the smartphone factory in China. Those from Foxconn intend to invest 1.1 billion dollars in the factory where iPhone terminals are produced, essentially doubling the production capacity. At the moment the Foxconn factory in China produces around 200.000 iPhone terminals daily and following this investment this figure will double, China producing almost half a million iPhone terminals per day.

It is not known at the moment how long it will take until the investment is completed, but theoretically iPhone 6 should be available in sufficient numbers to cover the existing demand worldwide.
