A school in Bulgaria changes its name, chooses that of Steve Jobs

In November last year I told you that a Bulgarian technological institute is thinking of changing its name on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin Technological Institute in the city of Plovdiv will wear starting with the year 2012, the name of Steve Jobs as a tribute to the famous CEO of the Apple company. The choice was made by the students and the school management agreed to change the communist name to one that is not related to any national hero but to a very important personality at the global level.

Last year in Hungary was revealed a statue dedicated to Steve Jobs, an IT company erecting it in Budapest as a tribute to the one who, a few decades ago, donated some computers that helped the development of that company.
