Over the years, Apple has preferred to keep the design of the front casings of its iDevices unchanged, and nothing will change in the iPad 3. A website from China, which has already been sued by Apple for presenting some iPad components, published the image above in which we see the front cover of the iPad 3. Compared to the iPad 2, it presents only one new element, a longer data cable which is supposed to be for the new Retina Display of the iPad 3, a screen that would require more a lot of current and a different model of cable from what it seems.
The front case presents the same round button that we know from all iDevices and the same bezel although in the morning it was said that it would be thinner in the new model of the tablet. For now, we have seen how different the tablet could be in terms of the back cover and the camera, and now we see that there will be no differences in the front, so the new product will be difficult to distinguish from the iPad 2. Now I think we have all the necessary components to virtually assemble an iPad 3 tablet.
