iPad 3 and Asus Transformer Prime are probably the best tablets available on the market at the moment. Both have powerful graphics processors, both have high-resolution screens, but only the iPad 3 tablet has Retina Display and this, I say, tilts the balance in favor of the tablet produced by Apple. Internet browsing is very good on both, Transformer Prime load web pages faster, but the iPad 3 offers a much better experience in terms of browsing the page and reading the text. iPad 3 offers fewer options on the customization side and is a little thicker and heavier, but I go back and say that the screen tips the scales in its favor.
Any user looking for a tablet at the moment should focus mainly on one of these two.
