87% of iPhone 4S terminal owners participating in a narrow study use Siri every month

An American company thought to do it a study to find out how many Americans use Siri on their own iPhone 4S terminal and asked almost 500 people how often they use the assistant. They found out that 87% of those asked use at least one function of Siri once a month, so we are talking about a rare use of an extremely well-known assistant. Most of those who use Siri do it to listen to music or make a phone call, and only a third of them use Siri to send messages or search for information on the web.

New research set to be released this week found that 87% of those who own Apple's iPhone 4S use at least one feature of its Siri virtual assistant monthly. But most usage is across a relatively limited set of functions, according to consulting group Parks Associates, which surveyed 482 owners of the iPhone 4S, the only device to carry the service.

A third of those asked have never used Siri and do not even know what its functions are, and 26% of them send daily emails using the assistant. Although the study tells us how Siri is used by some owners of iPhone 4S terminals, the small number of participants makes the study largely irrelevant. We cannot claim that this study is representative of the large mass of owners of iPhone 4S terminals, but I can say that I do not use Siri even once a month because it does not know how to recognize any commands in Romanian and because it is not able to search locations in Romania.

How often do you use Siri?
