Tim Cook helps decode iPhones bought from AT&T

A few weeks ago I told you that I am the owner of an iPhone terminal he turned to Tim Cook to convince AT&T to decode them the device and the operator has agreed to do so. In the meantime, it seems that Tim Cook would have helped other people to do exactly the same thing and those from 9To5mac support that they have already received some evidence from various people who claim that they decoded their terminals through Tim Cook's office. Those from AT&T do not officially decode iPhone terminals sold through their own distribution network, but if Apple's CEO asks for it, then the policy can be modified for the benefit of users.

Of course, Tim Cook does not personally respond to the emails sent by users, but his assistants ask for the necessary data to perform the decoding and then send the instructions that the user must do to decode his device. Now Tim Cook cannot be the tool through which all Americans will decode their iPhone terminals, but the precedent set by AT&T here will more than likely give rise to a change in its policy of decoding iPhone terminals, but it remains to be seen how much it will cost users the "luxury" of having an iPhone decoded at AT&T.
