Apple is preparing the release of a new version of iOS that will bring news for Siri

Only a month has passed since the release of iOS 5.1, which gives the Japanese the option of using Siri in their own language, and now Apple is already working on compatibility with the Italian language. a Italian blog recently discovered that Siri is able to offer some answers in Italian as well, but for now everything boils down to reciting the date. Apple promised that it will "teach" Siri to speak Italian this year and the American company keeps its word and in the near future it will most likely release an update that will include this new feature.

The last time I saw something like this was related to Japan and only a few days later the discovery that Siri knows Japanese Apple released iOS 5.1. Since Siri now knows how to speak Italian, there are very high chances that Apple will release in the near future a new version of iOS that will include compatibility with this language. We don't know when this new version of iOS will be available, but as soon as it appears I will let you know.
