Tim Cook met with the President of the US House of Representatives

During yesterday Tim Cook met with John Boehner, the President Chamber of Representatives from the USA to discuss some problems of the company from Cupertino.. You are probably wondering what this institution is, right? Well, it is one of the two chambers of Congress and its president is the "third man in the American state", that is, he is the third person who can take over the position of President of the USA in the event that the current president or vice president is unable to perform their duties. Why did Tim Coo meet with John Boehner? Well, it seems that Apple is interested in bringing to the US approximately 74 billion dollars that it has in banks around the world and is asking the government to reduce the taxes that it should pay in the case of this repatriation.

Apple and other American companies are trying to bring back to the USA no less than 1 trillion dollars, but they ask the government to reduce the taxes applied to these amounts and of course the politicians are visited by the presidents of these companies. Steve Jobs had a relatively close relationship with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, now Tim Cook seems to be getting close to almost as powerful people and it remains to be seen how successful his initiatives will be.
