During the last evening Apple launched a new version of iOS 5.1.1 for the iPhone 4 GSM terminal. Specifically, the 9B208 iOS 5.1.1 build is now ONLY available for iPhone 4 GSM and this build solves some functionality issues of the operating system, but the changes are minor. The update can be installed either through iTunes or through the OTA Update system available in iOS, but it is advisable to avoid it because it is not known if it is vulnerable to untethered jailbreak exploits.
No member of the teams that develop jailbreak solutions has made any statement about the new iPhone 4 GSM build, so it is not known if Absinthe 2.0 does untethered jailbreak for him or not. UPDATE: iH8sn0w claims that the new build can NOT be exploited by Absinthe yet, so DO NOT install it!
