Apple waives the limitation on the purchase of iPad tablets

In 2010, Apple launched the first model of the iPad tablet and immediately sold the stock it brought to the stores. Because most of this stock was bought by grandparents who resold it at a speculative price, Apple decided to impose a sales limit of 2 tablets for each person and thus managed to sell tablets to customers directly and not to intermediaries. Well, 2 years after the introduction of this limitation, Apple sent finally an internal note specifying that any person can buy any iPad tablets they want, except for people who visit the Apple store in Hong Kong where the limit is still in force.

In the online store, the change will come into effect starting on June 11, when WWDC 2012 takes place. Although the change is welcome, I don't think it will generate an increase in sales, although Apple probably now has enough units in stock.
