This evening, the Apple company presented some new functions for Siri, including some that will be available exclusively in some car models that will be on the market in 2012. Eyes Free is the name of the system thought by Apple and it it works with the help of a button mounted on the steering wheel of cars manufactured by BMW, GM, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler and Honda. By connecting Siri to the on-board computer and pressing that button, you will activate the assistant and interact with it without taking your eyes off the road. Everything is done with the idea of giving drivers more safety and a more useful way to activate Siri, especially since the assistant now has a turn-by-turn navigation system.
In order to make the picture complete, Apple has implemented support for several other languages in Siri in iOS 6, so that in total there will be 15 languages recognized by the assistant. All of them are listed below, Romanian is not among them, but you are already expecting something like this.
