Siri, the software that everyone considers useless, has motivated smartphone manufacturers to rethink their strategy regarding the implementation of "personal assistants" in their own products. In this idea Samsung launched S Voice, which is a failure, and now LG has become brave and is launching quick-voice. The system is capable of searching for YouTube videos, generating calendar entries, performing internet searches, etc., so we are talking about a functionality similar to that offered by Siri or S Voice, but the most important part will be in the Quick Voice capability to correctly understand commands and follow the flow of a conversation.
For now, this Quick Voice will be available on two smartphone models that are mainly sold in South Korea, but in the future it will reach all smartphones sold by LG. Their idea is good, soon all manufacturers will offer similar systems, but the big problem lies in the ability of these systems to be, first of all, better than Siri on the command recognition side, and secondly, we are talking about originality and measure in which differentiate themselves from Siri through unique and useful functions.
