You all know that in iOS 6 the company Apple decided to remove the Google Maps system from the native Maps application and to replace it with an own system. Unfortunately, the new system is not really that great, it doesn't offer as many things as Google Maps, and Romanians are not the only ones who complain about this. Google took note of the complaints and the senior vice president of the Commerce & Local department at Google announced as a surprise is being prepared for iDevice users. He just said that Google will give us an extraordinary experience using Google Maps on iOS, but no one knows exactly what this means.
Google announced that it will soon launch a new application on the iOS platform that will give us the option to view the 3D map system of Google Maps, and probably everything is connected to that application. I assume that in addition to the 3D system, Google will also offer the option of using a turn-by-turn navigation system, otherwise their application will be semi-useless since it does not have such functionality. It will not be difficult to use a Google application instead of the native Maps application if it will offer such a utility, but it is difficult to say if Google is willing to make such a functionality for iDevices.
