iPhone 4S is starting to lose ground in Europe, iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III are the main culprits

The iPhone 4S terminal sold extremely well in the first 6 months after its official launch, on July 24 we will find out how well has the device fared in the last 3 months, but in the UK it seems that its popularity decreased. By June the iPhone 4S accounted for a quarter of mobile phone sales in the UK and although it remained popular last month, it only accounted for a fifth of total sales. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S III contributed to this decrease in sales, but also the rumors regarding the launch of the iPhone 5, which will take place in the fall of this year. In numbers, it seems that Apple sells around 55.000 units per week, while Samsung would sell around 50.000 units per week, but for now we are talking about numbers presented by analysts.

If until now the sales of iPhones were falling between March and June due to the anticipation of the launch of a new model, last year and this year the June - October period seems to affect the sales of smartphones produced by Apple. It is normal to be like this, considering that Apple releases a new beta version of iOS in June and tests it with developers until September/October, and the whole world reads rumors about a possible new iPhone terminal. These rumors seriously affect the sales of the terminals in stores and this year the iPhone will have the worst sales during the summer, a situation similar to last year.
