Noisy Typer is an application for Macs from Apple, and with its help you can convince your Mac to reproduce the sounds of a classic typewriter. Practically, the application adds to the keyboard the sounds that a classic typewriter normally emits, and when you type you will hear exactly the same sounds that a typewriter normally emits. Of course, Noisy Typer is not aimed at all Mac owners because not everyone wants to have such a noisy keyboard, but those interested have at hand a simple method to get what they want.
To install Noisy Typer you need to download a package available here, to install it in your own Mac, to open it System Preferences, to access the menu Universal Access and check the Enable access for assistive devices option. After taking these steps, open the Noisy Typer application, and every time you type something, it will reproduce the sounds you presented in the video clip above.
