Apple, I want a Personal HotSpot worthy of an iDevice

In 2011, Apple officially launched the Personal HotSpot function that allows iDevice owners to share a mobile data connection to other mobile terminals and computers. All top smartphones have such a function available, but in the case of iDevices we are talking about something extremely simple that has only two options: activation/deactivation and password setting. Maybe most of them are happy to have just such a function, but I would like more.

I would like the Personal Hotspot to tell me exactly which devices are connecting to my terminal and to give me the possibility to disconnect them if necessary and possibly completely block their ability to connect. I would like Apple to give me the option to choose the speed that my terminal offers to this hotspot, as well as the maximum number of simultaneous connections, but I think they are asking too much. MyWi, a very complex tweak from Cydia, has such options, but Apple seems to think that we don't need them, although a lot of people would be happy to have them.

What do you think, are such functions needed or not?
