The Google company boasted that it will bring iDevice owners an application that will show them 3D images of cities around the globe, and this happened last night when Google 7.0 has been officially released. The application is not available in App Store Romania, but it is available in many other App Stores around the world, but the quality of the images offered by it is inferior to those found in the application Maps from iOS 6. In the images in this article you have a comparison done to the two applications and notice that the Maps application on the right offers images of a much better quality than the Google Earth application on the left.
If we take into account the fact that the Maps application is currently available in beta version and its images will improve, then Apple seems to win the 3D war against those from Google. flyOver it's called the function that allows us to see 3D presentations of several important cities around the world, but in Romania it is useless and I don't know if there will be a time when we will be able to use it.
