By making these changes, Apple managed to increase the size of the screen, but keep the dimensions of the case at an acceptable level. I don't know if the screen in the picture is really 4 inches diagonally, but it seems to be no different from the ones presented so far. If the final version of iPhone 5 will look exactly the same, then in terms of the structure of the case there will be no major difference.
