This evening, Tim Cook took the stage at the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 presentation conference and announced that no less than 84 million iPad tablets were sold until June of this year. The iPad tablet has been on the market for two and a half years, and during this period Apple has sold more units than any other tablet manufacturer, and by the end of the year Apple will definitely exceed the figure of 100 million tablets sold. In the same conference, Apple announced that they have sold 400 million iDevices to date.
