In iOS 6, Apple implemented a map system that many people don't really like, but it also came "packaged" with a turn-by-turn navigation system. Using this system, you can be extremely easily guided to a favorite destination using Apple's system, which is in some ways similar to the one offered by Google in its own Android OS. Unfortunately, the test was done in San Franscico, the hometown of both companies, so it is not 100% relevant considering that both have mapped this area as well as possible and it was normal for everything to work as correctly as possible. In other areas, users have constantly complained about inaccurate maps, mapping and location naming mistakes, and this does not happen in big cities in the US or Europe.
