I don't know if you have seen this video clip or not, but to the series of scratch tests published so far I am adding this one in which a user tests the hardness of the terminal iPhone 5 using a knife, a hammer and a set of keys. The case of the device resists the keys quite well, but when the hammer comes into action, things get serious and although you can see in the clip that the terminal seems to be quite resistant to scratches, the case should not be your main problem.
