Pod2G is not working on developing a jailbreak solution for iOS 6, it could all just be a marketing strategy

Although a few months ago Pod2G and Chronic Dev Team announced that they have exploits ready to do jailbreak new iOS 6, today the hacker stated on Twitter that he is not currently working on the development of a jailbreak solution for this version of the operating system. Pod2G developed, with the help of the Chronic Dev Team, the jailbreak solution Absinthe 2.0 which was used for iOS 5.1.1, iPad 3 and the rest of the iDevices, but now he says that he is focusing on his own job and not on a new jailbreak solution.

Pod2G will participate in San Francisco, together with other well-known hackers, at a conference about jailbreak, and this tweet could be related to it. He says that at that conference some ideas could be born regarding the development of such a jailbreak solution and I assume that an important announcement will be made there, or maybe a jailbreak solution for iPhone 5. It has been speculated since last year that this will happen if the iPhone will be available on the market and I expect to see at least a demo of a jailbreak solution for the terminal, even if it will not be released then.

For this conference, as much publicity as possible is needed and announcements of this kind are perfect to attract everyone's attention.
