Microsoft Surface has an operating system that occupies 12 GB of space

I don't know how many of you have wondered why the Microsoft Surface is available in versions that have a storage space of at least 32 GB, many have seen this as a beneficial thing, but in reality things are not so great. Yesterday the Microsoft engineers announced that Windows RT, the operating system of the tablet, occupies 12 GB of space after installation, including the Office suite and other Microsoft applications, so a Surface tablet with the operating system and its installed applications still leaves users with approximately 20 GB of free space for anything something else.

In comparison, the iOS of the iPad tablet occupies only a little over 1 GB of space after installation, users having at hand over 13 GB of space (if we are talking about the 16 GB version) in which they can install applications or copy multimedia content. The difference between the space occupied by these operating systems is enormous, and unfortunately users who purchase tablets with larger storage space do not get the same amount of space as those who use iPad tablets or Android tablets. I assume that the Pro version of the Surface will have a Windows that takes up even more space, so you have to take this into account when making a purchase.
