American children want iPhones and iPad tablets as gifts for Christmas

Every year the statistical companies in the USA analyze the wishes of children regarding Christmas and the gifts they would like to receive, and this year iDevices are, as usual, in the top of preferences. In a study by those from Nielsen, most children up to 12 years of age want an iPad tablet, in second place is the Nintendo Wii U, and in the next 2 places we find the iPod Touch, the tablet iPad Mini, the iPhone, and we only have the computer in 6th place.

Moving now to a study done on children aged 13 or older, preferences change, the iPad tablet is the choice of the majority, but it is followed by the computer, other tablets, Nintendo Wii U, iPhone and a Smart TV. In general, studies like this give marketers an idea about how Americans will spend their money during the winter holidays, and if they come true, then iDevices will have sales at least as high as last year last.
