Apple adds six Samsung products to a lawsuit already filed against the Koreans

  On Friday, the Apple company submitted to a US court a motion by which ask to add to an existing process 6 Samsung terminals that would infringe its patents. Two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Samsung Rugby Pro are the 6 devices and for each Apple has various requests. The company included the products in the lawsuit mainly because of Android updates, or the implementation of new versions of the Android OS, the patents invoked now being already used in the lawsuit.

  1. "the Samsung Galaxy S III running the new Android Jelly Bean operating system" (the S III was previously added as I mentioned above, and Jelly Bean was already at issue in Apple's previous motion to amend, but Apple says that the new Android version " did not arrive on many devices – including those examined by Apple's counsel – until earlier this month");

  2. the Samsung Galaxy Note II (first released on October 24, rolling out to additional carriers earlier this month); by the way, I just ordered one after having used the original Note for about a year;
  3. the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wifi, which also isn't new per se, but the original infringement contentions were based on Honeycomb (Android 3.0) and on Thursday it received its update to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), which is why Apple wanted to update its charts as well;
  4. the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, "which was released with the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with various carriers beginning November 9, 2012, and most recently on November 21, 2012";
  5. the Samsung Rugby Pro (released on October 21); and
  6. "the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, which Samsung has yet to officially release in the United States, but which Apple discovered earlier this week is now offered for sale in the United States." (the UK release was on November 8)

  The process in which the inclusion of these products was requested will begin in March of next year, until then Samsung can solve the problems complained by Apple and can avoid removing them from sale, but it can be held responsible for the unauthorized use of patents.

  1. Apple has already started to fear Samsung and the force with which they are coming from behind. Those from Samsung may not be inventive or original, but they have a fabulous adaptability. And I think that those who adapt faster and better are the ones who win in the end... We will see what will happen.

  2. they have a fabulous power of adaptation....if they have someone to adapt to 🙂
    Disaster would come when they would have no one to copy.

  3. They are not inventive at all, that's why they make screens, processors and batteries for Apple and have phones like note2 which are way ahead of iphone5 with functions that no one has on the market and Apple will copy them
    and enter it on iphone7. Maybe you are curious: smart stay, direct call, pop up play video, floating app (calculator, calendar) multiwindow, air view with the s pen, and others. Does it exist on any iphone and are copied from Apple??
    Instead, you will be left with the jailbreak and tweaks from cyndia to get already outdated functions on android..Bravo Apple.

  4. Cydia, I don't care about s-pen, real artists don't need a kkt of pencil for. to create works of art, air view of towns and cities in Romanian when the Romanian barely manages to pick up a phone. If you like to talk with the monitor in your ear, well done, you have become obsessed. The ideas for Samsung are over, they took out the best they had, the next one will have the same slogan, namely "the next big shit is here", when Samsung was making refrigerators, Apple was making money from the iPhone, think about it, no one gave a no. of sold s and dc. they don't have shares on the stock market, I have a friend with 2 rings, he lost them on Thursday and they were destroyed, the guarantee was not valid for he. While I dropped my 4s hundreds of times on the ground and it has nothing but 4 scratches. Is it inventive to do something to play a video in the background? in 3 hours of 3g on my s3 remaining below 10% battery, it can be seen that the same company of 2 money remained

  5. @Anonymous, there's no point in answering you, you're completely beside the point.. Be interested in what can be done with the s pen, what air view actually is and since when Samsung makes phones. Not all of us were born after '90 and I discovered the phone in 2007.
