Eric Schmidt believes that Apple and Google will solve their legal problems, he does not understand the changes in iOS 6

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt spoke in an interview with the Wall Street Journal about the relationship between Google and Apple, about the recent changes, but also about the lawsuits with Android terminal manufacturers. Schmidt believes that large companies must be run exactly like countries, and important problems must be solved maturely, with everyone benefiting from this attitude. Continuing, he does not understand why Apple gave up Google Maps si YouTube starting with iOS 6, but we know very well what were the reasons of those from Apple, even if no one from Google wants to mention them.

The adult way to run a business is to run it more like a country. They have disputes, yet they've actually been able to have huge trade with each other. They're not sending bombs at each other. Obviously, we would have preferred them to use our maps. They threw YouTube off the home screen. I'm not quite sure why they did that... I think both Tim and Larry, the sort of successors to Steve and me if you will, have an understanding of this state model. When they and their teams meet, they just have a long list of things to talk about.

Ending the interview, Schmidt says that Apple and Google are in constant discussions about various current issues, including the lawsuits, and Schmidt is confident that these lawsuits will end, although he does not understand why Apple chose not to sue Google. Schmidt is a diplomat, he knows how to put the problems in such a way that Google comes out advantageous, but from many points of view he is right and certain problems of the two companies must be solved.
