47% of American consumers are interested in an Apple TV, they would pay a premium price for it

In the USA, a new study was conducted by AlphaWise and Morgan Stanley reveals the fact that 47% of consumers are interested in a television produced by the Apple company. 11% of consumers are very interested, 36% are somewhat interested in it and 20% of the 47% would be willing to pay a price 20% higher than the average price for smart TVs. According to these figures, American analysts estimate that Apple could sell up to 13 million televisions, if it finally launches one.

The study was done on 1568 people from the USA, it should be representative, but the studies do not always reveal the reality on the ground. Even so, a lot of attention has been generated around the possible TV produced by Apple and the company has a real challenge ahead of it because it has to bring to the market a product that is at least as good as everyone is presenting it.
