A 5-year-old child spends $2550 on in-app purchases in 15 minutes, Apple returns the money

In-app purchases are currently the best way to make money with an application or game available in the Apple App Store. Users spend a lot of money on these in-app purchases and these things were found out by the parents of a boy from the UK who succeeded to spend $2550 in just 15 minutes in one game. His father entered his own Apple ID password to give him the opportunity to download something for free, but the child apparently unknowingly bought other in-game bonuses, some of them costing £70 each, and ended up spending a impressive amount of money in just 15 minutes.

The game Zombies vs Ninjas was the one in which all these purchases were made and fortunately Apple agreed to return the money to the parents when it was contacted by them. Normally, such purchases are not returned, they are considered to be purchases made with the consent of the user, except in cases where the accounts are hacked. Unfortunately, the case of the British will be repeated soon, with application developers having the objection to implement a system of in-app purchases that deceives children and generates large bills for parents.
