HTC announces the lowest quarterly profit in the company's history

HTC is one of the most important manufacturers of terminals Android in the world, but in the last 2 years it started to have problems producing serious profit from the terminals it sells. Although many people expected that in Q1 2013 HTC would have a decent profit, unfortunately the Taiwanese announced that they managed to obtain a profit of only 2.85 million dollars on receipts of 1.43 billion dollars. This is the weakest fiscal quarter in the company's history, if we only refer to the profit, and the main problem is the slowness with which it was launched HTC One in the important markets around the world.

HTC needs very good sales for the One series and the other adjacent ones, otherwise it risks losing the profit it has now, even so small. To be honest, I would be extremely sorry to see a company like HTC end up being unable to finance its research and development labs, and if the HTC One doesn't significantly increase revenue, this will happen. For now, Samsung controls half of the Android market and if innovation is to win, then more than one very important manufacturer is needed on the market.
