Most of the important applications from iOS and Android are not available in Windows Phone and Blackberry 10

The App Store is the application store where you can find applications for the iPhone

iOS si AndroidOS they have the biggest app stores in the world behind them, and this has helped them generate the biggest sales of smartphones and tablets. Despite the efforts made by Microsoft and Blackberry, for now most of the important applications from App Store si Google Play are not found in the corresponding stores for Windows Phone si Blackberry 10. information come from Canalys, a company that monitored the applications published in all virtual application stores and reached a conclusion that many already knew.

Of the top 50 free and top 50 paid apps featured in the Apple App Store and Google Play in the United States, based on their aggregated rankings over the first 20 days of May 2013, just 34% feature in either the Windows Phone store or BlackBerry World (as of 21 May 2013). The Windows Phone store contains 16 of the top 50 free Apple App Store applications, and 14 of the top 50 paid. It contained 22 of the top 50 free Google Play store's applications, and 13 of the top 50 paid. In comparison, BlackBerry World contained BB10 versions of five of the top 50 free Apple App Store applications, and nine of the top 50 paid. It contained 11 of the top 50 free Google Play store applications, and 11 of the top 50 paid.

Practically only one third of the most popular and downloaded applications from the App Store and Google Play are found in the other application stores and this is a big problem. The Microsoft and Blackberry platforms either lost a lot of users or did not gain many, and it is certain that they are losing the war with Apple and Google. The problem for them is that they cannot convince enough developers to publish important applications in their stores, and financial incentives have not been successful.

At the moment, a mobile platform without a strong application store does not matter much, and Microsoft and Blackberry feel this to the full.
