Apple gives authorized services certification to repair iDevices in their own locations

Last weeks I told you that Apple starts repairing broken iDevices in its own stores instead of changing the units entirely for customers, and the same thing is slowly but surely implemented in the authorized services. For now, there are services only in the USA and Canada certified to repair iDevices on the spot, more precisely they can change the battery, camera, speakers and other internal components right on the spot. The respective service technicians participated in a special qualification program organized by the Apple company, but they also participated in several sessions where the optimal way to disassemble an iPhone was explained to them.

Program Overview - Goals
1. Provide APR with authorization to provide iPhone repair service to walk in customers as alternate channel
2. Provide the same service level for iPhone as our Apple Retail Stores
3. Reduce the proliferation of unauthorized repair centers and third party parts

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has been running this program in the beta stage in the USA since last year, and now it has also been extended to Canada, all with the idea of offering customers a quick resolution of problems and reducing costs for solving warranty issues. Although Apple still changes certain iDevices, it requires authorized partners to have a terminal repair rate of 10%, so 10% of the devices brought under warranty will be repaired, the remaining 90% will be changed and everything depends on luck, or the seriousness of the problem with which you visit an authorized Apple partner to carry out warranty repairs.

Although the system is in the early stages of implementation, probably next year it will also arrive in our country, where there are already 2 partners authorized to carry out repairs on Apple iDevices, but of course we also have the services of mobile phone operators.
