Apple may launch AppleCare+ in Europe in the near future

Two years away from the launch of the service AppleCare + in the USA, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), take into account its possible launch in Europe. In Europe, Apple Stores sell only the standard AppleCare, which extends the standard warranty by another year and covers an incident due to the user's fault, all at the price of only €99 per year. AppleCare + it offers a double warranty period and covers a maximum of 2 incidents, so in Europe users would benefit, through this system, from 4 years of warranty, two of them including protection for an annual incident.

For now, everything is limited to a simple rumor, but it wouldn't be hard to believe that Apple could offer AppleCare+ in Europe, especially since the service was successful in the US. Apple has been criticized, investigated and fined by some European authorities because it does not correctly inform its customers about the standard warranty period for its products, which is 2 years. Apple does not mention this on its website, indicating to customers that it only benefits from a one-year warranty and selling AppleCare to extend the warranty by another year.

In Romania, authorized Apple services do not market AppleCare, so we will not see this service here.
