Samsung Galaxy Note 3 contains a new smartphone coding system, few people are happy

Are you unhappy because of the fact that mobile phones are coded on some mobile phone operators? If this is true, then I tell you that something even more difficult to bear is being prepared for us, those from Samsung intending to code their terminals by region. This coding system is currently used for DVDs, and those from Samsung will also implement it for smartphones, a representative of the company confirming this for those from gigaom, this after a retailer from Great Britain announced everything.

If you travel internationally (outside Europe) and usually insert a local SIM card when in those countries, the Note 3 will NOT be able to use the local network. It will lose all mobile connectivity with the exception of emergency calls. For example, if you travel to the USA and insert a SIM card issued in the USA, you will not be able to use the Note 3 for any voice calls, text messages and mobile data connection. It will work via WiFi connectivity only.

Practically, the Galaxy Note 3s sold in Europe will not be able to use cards of operators from other regions, and this under the conditions that the terminals will be found decoded. The same thing will be valid for the terminals sold in the USA, the buyers of these devices being forced to give up the idea of using SIMs of local operators if they travel. I don't know why Samsung made the decision to shoot itself in the foot in this way when it is generating better sales in the smartphone segment, but the worst part is that others could follow its example.
