WhatsApp Messenger is one of the most popular text messaging networks in the world, but its market share in the US has registered a constant decrease in the last 3 months. Having a market share of 9.25% in May, the application has now reached 7.97%, the decrease being important due to the very large number of users of the application. The statistics refer only to the USA and we are most likely talking about millions of consumers who now no longer use the application, the reasons are varied and unfortunately unknown for now.
Apart from this reduction in activity, the application also disappeared from the top of free applications from App Store, this change in position related to the change in the algorithms based on which the applications are displayed in the charts App Store.
