Apple intends to copy a function of Google Maps

I told you in the morning that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), intends to use his system iBeacons to improve the experience of purchasing products from Apple Store-s, but this is only a very small part of what the company is preparing. It is rumored that in iOS 8 we are going to discover a multitude of important news for the application Apple Maps, and among them the Apple company intends to include and maps of the interior of the buildings, functionality already available in Google Maps.

In addition to the upcoming uses for Apple Stores, sources say that Apple is actively developing a new indoor mapping feature for a future version of iOS. This updated Maps application, which will also include public transportation information, could assist users in navigating through stores and buildings. It is possible that iBeacon transmitters could tie into this for providing information along navigated paths.

Notice in the image above how the people from Google information about the inside of buildings, and Apple intends to do a similar thing for its Apple Maps. Google amazed a lot of people by implementing this system and it is extremely useful, especially in the big airports around the world, and those from Apple couldn't resist not having it. It was quite logical for Apple to make such a move and launch iOS 8 it seems to be an opportune moment, now it remains to be seen if Apple will offer something more than Google.
