iPhone 6 with a screen larger than 4 inches is to be released in May 2014, iPad Pro could replace a model of MacBook Air

A week separates us from the end of this year, but the rumors about the future iDevices keep appearing, although we have to wait a good few months until we can buy them. The first rumor has to do with iPhone 6, the future terminal of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), expected to have a larger than 4-inch screen, a processor produced using a 20nm manufacturing process, it is expected to hit the market in May 2014. Other previous rumors suggested that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), could implement in iPhone 6 a screen of maximum 4.7 inches with full HD resolution or double the current one, and TSMC is already contracted to manufacture a 20nm processor for Apple. Practically, this information only confirms rumors that already appeared about two weeks ago and nothing more.

In addition to tablets, Apple is also rumored to be planning a larger size iPhone for May 2014, using a 20nm processor manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the sources noted. Apple is rumored to release a 12.9-inch tablet in October 2014, targeting North America's educational market, according to sources from the upstream supply chain. With Samsung Electronics also reportedly planning to release 12- to 13-inch tablets, the sources believe these large-size tablets will greatly impact ultrabook demand.

Regarding the tablet iPad Pro we are talking about the same type of information, the Asian publication stating that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would launch the product with a 12.9-inch screen specifically for the educational environment. It is interesting, however, that now we hear for the first time that Apple intends to replace it MacBook Air- with an 11-inch screen by launching this tablet, but it remains to be seen whether Cupertino will consider this as appropriate, considering the rather large differences between the two types of products.

Apple's large-size tablet will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, and was originally expected to adopt either 12.9- or 13.3-inch panels, with recent rumors indicating that 12.9-inch has a better chance to be picked, the sources noted. As for whether the large-size tablet will also adopt the same processor, performance is expected to be a major factor as the tablet is being considered as a substitute of the 11-inch MacBook Air, the sources speculated.

Finally, I will tell you that the release date of iPhone 6 is as unreal as possible, because Apple will not release an iPhone earlier than September, especially since iOS 8 will be presented in the summer, in the WWDC 2014. If iPad Pro a launch could happen at any time, but the rumors so far indicate that we will have to wait until the fall of next year to see this product.
