I told you more than a week ago that Microsoft is preparing a competing service for Crab si Google Now, Cortana being its name. The launch of the service is scheduled for April this year, but in the meantime here we see, which seems to be, a first video clip in which Windows Phone Cortana is used on a terminal running the operating system of those from Microsoft. Unfortunately, the footage is not that great, but you can get a little idea about the assistant's functionality, it offers turn-by-turn navigation assistance in this clip.

One of the strong points of Crab is the voice used by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for answers, being quite close to the human one, but in the case Cortana we do not share the same thing. However, more important than that is the information provided by the assistant and here Cortana must be almost as good as Siri or Google Now, otherwise the system will not attract users of any of the 2 competing platforms and will not satisfy the current ones .
