Steve Wozniak denies claims that Apple should produce an Android smartphone

In an interview published last week, an online publication from the USA presented some interesting statements of his Steve Wozniak, he seems to recommend the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to produce a smartphone Android. Of course, this statement generated a lot of controversy around the world, Steve Wozniak being criticized and praised by a considerable number of people. Now, about a week after the article was published, we find out that the reporters would have misunderstood what Steve Wozniak said, he clarified things through an email sent to another journalist.

They got it quite wrong for their own reasons... I'm used to things like this, (where the media turns) 'could' into 'should.' But the idea caught a lot of attention. It was just (my) independent idea … I'm sure others have said it before but I get more attention … I went into how the world seems to be Apple lovers and Apple non-lovers. I did say Apple 'could' make an Android phone. But I (said) total business decisions would be in the hands of knowledgeable Apple execs — not me.

Basically, Wozniak claims that he stated that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), could make an Android smartphone, not that it should, he told reporters that decisions related to the manufacture of new products belong to those who run Apple. Of course, it's easy to change a word to turn a mundane interview into an extraordinary one, and of course Wozniak can say anything now that he's been criticized by everyone, but it remains for everyone to separate the truth from the lie.
