Here's how much Google offered to buy WhatsApp Messenger

I told you this morning that Facebook bought WhatsApp Messenger, the most popular text messaging app in the world. 19 billion dollars is worth the transaction for the purchase of the company WhatsApp, which owns the application, and the amount is colossal, even if we are talking about a service with over 450 million active users worldwide. WhatsApp was approached by multiple companies before signing with Facebook, one of them being even Google, those of Mountain View offering $10 billion to integrate WhatsApp Messenger in own services.

The difference compared to the offer made by Facebook is colossal and it is as clear as possible why it was refused, but apart from the money, Google did not offer the CEO of WhatsApp a seat on its board of directors, as Facebook did. However, even if it did not succeed in acquiring the company, those from Google would have been willing to even pay money to those from WhatsApp to notify them when they start acquisition negotiations with a third company, several million dollars being proposed by the Americans.

In the end, all the offers from Google were rejected, and Facebook chose an extremely popular service that will help it to substantially increase its mobile services.
