Apple is preparing a new technology for the iPhone 6 screen

The rumors recently launched in connection with iPhone 6 indicate that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing to implement a new screen with a larger diagonal in its future terminal, the resolution to be increased accordingly. Apart from these changes, it seems that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), inted to implement and a new technology that will allow you to display a much larger number of colors than in the past, this technology being already used in a limited form by Amazon for the tablet Kindle Fire HDX 7.

The iPhone 6 display will be a significant improvement over any other LCD smartphone. It will use the same Quantum Dot technology as the Kindle Fire HDX 7, but with an Apple twist. It will deliver a much wider color gamut than the Fire. Amazon compromised on color gamut in favor of color reproduction accuracy.

This technology is called quantum dot, QD, and its use in the tablet Amazon had extremely good results, the screen Kindle Fire HDX 7 rendering the colors more accurately and in a larger number than the Retina Displays iPad Air or iPad Mini with Retina Display. Implementing the same technology in iPhone 6, Apple could have the smartphone with the best screen in the world, at least in terms of the ability to reproduce colors correctly, but also the varied range of colors that can be reproduced.

Everything is currently presented as a rumor and is based on discussions held by an American journalist with a company that holds patents for the technology used by Amazong, so it remains to be seen if the information will prove to be true.
