NO PLS RECOVERY protects your iDevice in case of theft, prevents accidental iOS updates

No iTunes

During the Saturday evening I talked to you about NO Restore or Recovery mode, tweak which prevents accidental updates of iOS, and today I present to you NO PLS RECOVERY. In essence, both tweaks have exactly the same functionality, but the one I'm talking about today works even on old versions of iOS, up to iOS 4. After installing the tweak iTunes for PC or OS X you will no longer be able to enter your terminal in DFU Mode or Recovery Mode, so accidental updates/restores will be impossible.

NO PLS RECOVERY prevents desktop applications from sending your iOS device into recovery mode via lockdownd. This tweak can prevent accidental updates/restores from iTunes, because iTunes will never be able to send your device into recovery in order to restore it! In addition, it can also thwart potential thieves who have no idea how to enter DFU/recovery mode, and attempt to restore your device through iTunes when it is still booted up.

Moreover, the tweak prevents thieves from restoring our iDevices if they don't know how to insert the terminal into DFU Mode, so in case of theft the terminal could still be recovered. NO PLS RECOVERY it is available for free in the repo BigBoss al Cydia.
