The iPhone would be responsible for the disappearance of autographs

Taylor Swift is one of the most popular American artists and in a recent interview she claims that the iPhone is responsible for the disappearance of autographs requested by artists' fans. More exactly, Swift says that now the fans no longer ask the artists for autographs, but want to take a picture with them, Selfie, and replacing autographs with a picture is as logical as possible.

There are a few things I have witnessed becoming obsolete in the past few years, the first being autographs. I haven't been asked for an autograph since the invention of the iPhone with a front-facing camera. The only reminder 'kids these days' want is a selfie. It's part of the new currency, which seems to be 'how many followers you have on Instagram.'

Although the artist attributes to iPhones the achievement of forgetting autographs, the reality is that any mobile phone with a front camera is capable of taking a selfie instead of an autograph. Many achievements have been attributed to the iPhone over time, but the one mentioned by Taylor Swift I think comes unjustifiably, considering that we are not talking about any unique function of the Apple terminal.
