Apple Watch will have multiple resolutions, here they are

After the information regarding the applications that will run on the Apple Watch, now we find out what resolutions the Apple company has prepared for the two types of screens that its products will have when they are launched on the market. Apple has thought of two types of Apple Watch for men and women, one with 38mm, the other with 42mm, each with a different screen resolution. The first 38mm smartwatch will have a resolution of 340 x 272 pixels, while the second 42mm will have a resolution of 390 x 213 pixels, so a 10% difference in terms of screen resolution.

The existence of these multiple resolutions for Apple Watch it complicates the life of application developers who may have to produce separate images for each resolution, and this makes the development of a title extremely difficult. The content displayed on the screens will have the same size regardless of the resolution on which it appears and although some graphic elements can be used in both resolutions, others must be made specifically for each individual screen. These include app icons or notification banners, so developers will have a lot of work to do to prepare for these new products.

Apple asks its developers to produce designs as simple, beautiful and intuitive as possible for the Apple Watch, these will improve the user experience using the dedicated crown and the haptic feedback system, so we will not find any kind of titles in the App Store the Apple.
