Dropbox is the most popular file sharing system in the world, with applications available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Windows Phone, as well as options for uploading files from our PCs.
The Dropbox application for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch was updated this evening in the App Store, bringing for us the possibility to: rename existing files and folders in the system, a gesture that displays all the options available for the system, new options for viewing files, the possibility to see the full names of the applications, their size plus other details, and finally we have the option to edit files designed for Microsoft Office, but also to save them in Dropbox.
- You can now rename your files and folders!
- Swipe right on a folder to see more actions, including rename.
- We've moved a few things around – there's a new more actions button (⋯) when viewing files
- •On iPhones, the more actions button (⋯) also includes the full file name, size and other details.
- Edit Office documents and save them back to your Dropbox
