iOS 8.1.2 is a possible upgrade that Apple is most likely preparing for its iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches, all with the idea of closing 8.1.1 iOS jailbreak released the other day.
Given that iOS 8.2 will be released next year, Apple will need a method to block the current jailbreak solution for iOS 8.1.1, so iOS 8.1.2 could be launched in the next period. Although the hackers who brought us TaiGJailbreak claimed that Apple will stop updating its iOS until the appearance of iOS 8.2, there is still a chance that iOS 8.1.2 will make its appearance this year, or at the beginning of next year.
If Apple will release iOS 8.1.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, it will definitely do so only to block the exploits used for the jailbreak solution dedicated to our terminals and not to solve other important problems. Most of the problems reported by users for iOS 8 were solved by the release of iOS 8.1 or iOS 8.1.1, so an iOS 8.1.2 will have no other role than to secure the operating system of those from Cupertino again.
When will iOS 8.1.2 be released?

In conclusion, my opinion is that if iOS 8.1.2 will arrive in iTunes for our terminals, then by December 15th we should see it, otherwise there are minimal chances that it will appear until around January 10-15 .
